Accessibility Statement
PL Events, the organiser of SYSKEVASIA Expo, wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use syskevasia-expo.gr. This statement covers every page of the website, in Greek and in English.
This statement was prepared on 31 October 2026.
The standard we follow
We follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. This is also the level required by the European standard EN 301 549.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Our pages meet the criteria, but some third-party content and some files do not fully meet them yet. They are listed below under known limitations.
What we did
- Text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 with its background.
- The whole website works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a «Skip to content» link bypasses the menu.
- Pages have the right language, ordered headings and landmarks (header, menu, main content, footer).
- Informative images have alternative text and form fields have labels.
- Form messages are announced by screen readers.
- The cookie window works with a keyboard and has equal «Accept» and «Reject» buttons.
- Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The website adapts to phones, tablets and computers.
Known limitations
- PDF files (for example the exhibition brochure and the hall floor plans) have not been checked as accessible PDFs. If you need their content in another format, write to us.
- Floor plans are visual drawings. The exhibitor list is also available as text, on the «Exhibitor List» page.
- Google maps are third-party content and load only with your consent. The addresses of the exhibition and of our offices are always also given as text.
- Visitor registration and B2B meetings take place on the Eventora platform, which belongs to another provider. Its provider is responsible for its accessibility; if you have difficulty, contact us and we will help you.
How we checked
We carried out a self-assessment on 31 October 2026: an automated check of the main pages with the axe-core tool on desktop and phone, a keyboard check and a measurement of colour contrast. Everything found was fixed.
